SALEM'S LOT TODAY.

I've always found it interesting to see where productions are actually filmed. The original filming locations for the 1979 version of Stephen King's TV movie, SALEM'S LOT, are featured here in this YouTube video someone was so kind to film, edit, set to music and post for all of us. This person did a fine job of outlining the places used from in the film, and comparing them with the actual places where it was filmed, in Ferndale, California.

Ferndale was also the filming location for the movies "Outbreak" and "The Majestic." Interesting side note: The Majestic was directed by The Shawshank Redemption director, Frank Darabont, of course based on the story, also by Stephen King, Rita Haworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
