YO!!!
Yes The Talisman is being produced into a graphic novel format. The first in this new series begins this Fall. I've been talking with Peter Straub and Robin Furth (who is adapting the whole novel in this new form) at length about this series. Yes, this is based on the novel by Stephen King and Peter Straub. Ms. Furth was personally asked by Stephen King to adapt their novel. Robin Furth has been working with Stephen King for almost a decade now. She knows the Dark Tower series inside and out. Ms. Furth told me that The Talisman is very much like the Dark Tower in it's episodic storyline and she is enjoying working on this project. She's done with the first issue and is currently involved in finishing up the whole series. This will be released in four story arcs. And yes, we will have slipcases for each arc with spines that will correspond with each other.
I'm very excited about this new announcement and the fact that we are bringing to our Overlook readers a chance to have a special SIGNED CARD by Peter Straub and Robin Furth with each set ordered.
EXCLUSIVE SIGNED CARD not only is our special card signed by Straub and Furth, but it features a unique stamp to gaurantee it's authenticy from the Overlook. These cards are also numbered and will be very limited and only gauranteed for pre-orders. So click the links within or order them direct from the website if you'd like to track your orders.
F. PAUL WILSON - Ground Zero, the next novel in the Repairman Jack series, is due to ship sometime this summer. According to the publisher this one is going fast, so check out this and all our F. Paul Wilson titles at the Overlook.. oh.. and check out the special savings below!!!
STAND SLIPCASE UPDATE: Our Stand slipcases have had a slight delay due to the die maker. I won't bore you with the details, but all five cases connect, and the die maker has miscalculated the measurements. As soon as the new dies come in the printer will begin pressing the cases. Thankfully we have proofs for these things :-). My apologies for the delay but I promise you you'll be happy once you see them.
TREACHERY SLIPCASE & SETS - at this point everyone should have their sets (foreign may still be en route). The response has been overwhelming and we're almost sold out of the hard cover case. We have a few more of the comic case so if you have to choose, pick up the hardcover case soon.
REMEMBER.. get your order in soon on The Talisman because I'll only have a limited number of signed sets to offer.
Take care and there and remember to SHINE ON this summer !

DIAGNOSIS: TERMINAL.
Edited by F. Paul Wilson.
Endpaper SIGNED by F. Paul Wilson!
OVERVIEW: A collection of fourteen original tales of horror with a medical theme. The reviews below give this collection a major thumbs up!
REVIEW: "Only two of the 14 authors tapped for this entertaining anthology of medical horror stories are celebrated in that subgenre: Stephen Spruill (Painkiller) and editor Wilson (Implant). The others are newer writers, those renowned in other regions of horror (Chet Williamson; Thomas F. Monteleone; Ed Gorman) or visitors from altogether different genres (Bill Pronzini; Ridley Pearson). So if there's less experimental writing here than in many contemporary horror anthologies, there's plenty of spark, with each author adapting his or her own specialty to medical horror, and only a whiff or two of the patterns established by the king of stethoscope shock, Robin Cook. Pronzini kicks off the collection with a moody evocation of a moralistic madwoman in the last century ("Angel of Mercy"). Williamson contributes a sardonic yarn ("Dr. Joe") about a venal physician who gets involved in an insurance scam, while Pearson digs into his bag of crime-novelist tricks to create a gripping thriller novella about medical vengeance ("All Over But the Dying"). In the clever "Petit Mal," high-tech SF writer Jack Nimersheim imagines programmable biological devices attacking their creator. Elsewhere, Bruce Holland Rogers's "Wind Over Heaven" tells the pleasantly macabre story of a restaurant owner who gets caught up in the world of alternative medicine. With all due respect to the diagnostic abilities of Wilson, who is a physician, the title of this book should be: Diagnosis: Robust. " -- Publishers Weekly.

IN ODD WE TRUST - a prequel. By Dean Koontz. Art by Queenie Chan.
OVERVIEW: Odd Thomas is perhaps the most memorable and beloved character Dean Koontz has ever created. The charismatic young fry cook from Pico Mundo, California, has appeared in three New York Times-bestselling novels: Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, and Brother Odd. Odd, who has the ability to communicate with the dead, has inspired more reader letters than any other of his characters, according to Koontz. In Odd We Truth - a prequel to the original novel - follows Odd's race to solve the murder of a young boy whose killer appears to be stalking a second child. Odd's girlfriend, Stormy, Police Chief Porter, the ghost of Elvis Presley, and many other characters from the novels make their return.
?The dead don't talk. I don't know why.? But they do try to communicate, with a short-order cook in a small desert town serving as their reluctant confidant. Odd Thomas thinks of himself as an ordinary guy, if possessed of a certain measure of talent at the Pico Mundo Grill and rapturously in love with the most beautiful girl in the world, Stormy Llewellyn. Maybe he has a gift, maybe it?s a curse, Odd has never been sure, but he tries to do his best by the silent souls who seek him out. Sometimes they want justice, and Odd?s otherworldly tips to Pico Mundo's sympathetic police chief, Wyatt Porter, can solve a crime. Occasionally they can prevent one. But this time it's different.
